Here we go again...
The Senate is preparing to vote on the debt ceiling legislation. The House passed the bill last night in a 269-161 vote; now we will see if 60 of the 100 Senators are willing to send this bill to the President and end this fiasco. Perhaps they should consider that, according to a poll of 860 adult Americans conducted by CNN yesterday, "Seventy-seven percent of respondents said elected officials who have dealt with the debt ceiling have acted like spoiled children. Just 17 percent believe the politicians have acted like responsible adults." (read the article here) It's time to end this.
